Manu Varghese will be joining the partnership at Samvad Partners. He will be based in Mumbai in the General Corporate practice and will focus on Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity. 

Manu specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and business transfers. He has extensive experience in advising clients on strategic acquisitions and exits, private equity investments representing both buy side and sell side, joint ventures, inbound foreign investments, divestment of business and assets and outbound investments. He has also advised clients on a wide range of matters involving foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions and joint ventures and is experienced in handling a wide range of clients, including some of India’s largest conglomerates, multinational companies and private equity players across various sectors. 

In a career spanning 15 years, Manu has worked with clients from sectors like e-commerce, retail, cement, financial services, equipment manufacturing, renewable energy and information technology. He has previously worked with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. The Firm’s Partner Vineetha MG welcomed Manu and said “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Manu to the Firm.
