Saraf and Partners is delighted to announce the joining of Sachit Mathur as the lead Partner for its Pan India Real Estate Practice along with Partners, Ajay Bhadu and Astha Singh Trehan, and their entire team and Sagar Manju, as Partner in Insolvency & Restructuring practice.

Sachit was earlier leading the real estate practice at L&L Partners (formerly Luthra & Luthra Law Offices) – a Firm, co-founded and established by Saraf and Partners’ Founder & Managing Partner, Mohit Saraf. Due to the unfortunate dispute between Mr. Rajiv Luthra and Mr. Saraf in 2020, Sachit left L&L to start his own real estate specialised Firm, Emerald Law Office and majority of his team joined him.

Ajay, a former Associate Partner at Desai & Diwanji and Astha, a L&L alum were Partners at Emerald Law Office.

Sagar has an extensive experience of over a decade and was earlier associated with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai Office with experience in the Banking & Finance and Insolvency & Restructuring practice. He was also a LAMP Fellow.

Saraf and Partners’ Founder & Managing Partner, Mohit Saraf commented, “Over 14 years Sachit has spent at L&L, he has worked very closely with me. He and his team members were mentored by me, and it was unfortunate to watch them leave but I am glad, that everyone has decided to join Saraf and Partners. On the other hand, I have observed Sagar during some of our mutual transactions and was impressed with his skills and passion. Having him onboard definitely boosts up our Insolvency & Restructuring practice”.

A month back, Manmeet Singh had joined S&P as Partner in its Litigation practice.

“Since the establishment of the Firm in July 2021, our total strength has moved from 100 to 150 with total partner count of 26. We are extremely excited in our new journey” Mr. Saraf further added.
