Pioneer Legal, a leading law firm in Mumbai announced a slew of promotions. Two of its counsels Mr. Anupam Shukla and Mr. Shoubhik Dasgupta have been promoted to partnership. 

Satish Kishanchandani, Managing Partner, Pioneer Legal, remarked, “Both Anupam and Shoubhik joined our team right out of college and what a journey it has been. They are both home grown and the team at Pioneer Legal is incredibly proud of their accomplishments. We wish them all the very best.”

Anupam Shukla also commented on the promotion, “I started my legal profession with this same team almost a decade ago. So, it is a moment of immense pride and gratification to now have been offered an induction in the Firm as a partner. It has been a great professional journey so far and I look forward to the milestones ahead of me.”

Shoubhik Dasgupta commented, “I would like to thank all the seniors that I have worked with throughout my career, for their support, and guidance without whom I would not be where I am today. I would also like to thank all those who have been working with me, for their tireless efforts and patience. This is a great opportunity and I look forward to working with the firm in our journey forward.”

Mr. Shukla was a member of the founding team of Pioneer Legal when he joined the Firm in April 2019 as a Counsel. He has gained extensive experience in private equity transactions while working on several investment deals, including joint ventures and foreign investments. He has also developed expertise in the privacy and tech space and will be heading the Technology Law practice of the Firm. He pursued his BBA LLB from Symbiosis International University, Pune.

Mr. Dasgupta also joined Pioneer Legal in April 2019 as a Counsel and was a founding member of the Pioneer Legal team. Over the years and while working at Pioneer, he has advised many multinational clients and funds both domestic and overseas on private equity and M&A deals in the automobile, insurance and manufacturing space. He holds a masters in business administration from ICFAI, Hyderabad and completed his law graduation from Symbiosis International University, Pune.
