With a bundle of laughs and some very grilling questions, the jury welcomed all deserving nominations and shortlisted candidates. Nominations kept flowing in until the last minute but only 71 contenders could make the cut for the jury round. To fairly accommodate everyone and to allow everyone a fair chance to make their Elevator Pitch our esteemed Jury met for two sessions instead of one to bring the behemoth task of selecting India’s best of the best to fruition.

An interesting mix of candidates kept the Jury on the case

Our esteemed Jury members were delightd to meet a diverse set of candidates with amazing career trajectories and interesting backgrounds. The panel members took a keen interest in every candidate, putting them on the hot seat with tricky questions laced in humour for the Q&A round. Impressively, the candidates worked their fingers to the bone to convince the Jury—why they were the best of all.

Deciding the best from the best was a tall order 

All the candidates had something unique about them. While some battled against personal struggles to triumph against all odds, some carved a niche for themselves like none other. Ultimately the jury zeroed in on the trailblazers that have made the maximum impact in their relatively young careers in the legal ecosystem. 

All the healthy discussions and thoughtful deliberations led to discovering the most deserving legal changemakers out of the nominations received this year. And the dynamic candidates who could not make the list this year definitely won the hearts of all the jury members.

BW Legal World will be hosting a virtual award ceremony to honour the most coveted list of the best 40 young lawyers and legal influencers in the country. The virtual award ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
