Priyanka Khimani, who rebranded her law firm to its original avatar, Khimani & Associates, a few months ago, is now ready to welcome her first partnership within the firm as well as unveil the firm’s latest new address in Mumbai. One of Priyanka’s core team members, Deepti Sarma, who has been leading Khimani’s General Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, will now join Priyanka as a Partner at the firm.
 
For the last few years, Deepti has worked hand in glove with Priyanka towards tapping into and building a dynamic corporate practice within the firm, one that brings their respective core expertise together - Entertainment and M&A. With the media and technology sector seeing active participation from private equity and venture capital funds alike, Deepti and Priyanka have jointly advised the firm’s clients on opportunities in the market and how to effectively navigate the Indian regulatory and statutory landscape. Sarma and Khimani’s joint counsel is also extensively sought by the firm’s star-studded clientele as more and more celebrities sink their teeth into equity deals, be it for their endorsements, business ventures or simply managing their own personal wealth portfolios.
