Yogesh Wadhwa is a law and commerce graduate from the University of Delhi, India with 20 years of experience across law firms and MNCs in Oil & Gas and Automobile sectors.

As of April, Yogesh has taken over as the General Counsel for Hyundai India Motors and will be responsible for all of its legal and secretarial issues.

Yogesh entered the automobile sector by joining General Motors as its General Counsel in India and moved to Renault & Nissan India, as its General Counsel. He was later transferred to Dubai by Nissan to manage its Middle East legal markets covering GCC, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Yogesh has also worked in Oil & Gas sector (Halliburton and Cairn Energy) and Law Firm/Consulting (PricewaterhouseCoopers, Fox Mandal).

His areas of expertise include – ‘Corporate & Commercial law practice’, ‘Sourcing & Supply Contracts’, ‘M&A’, ‘Contracts’, Litigation’, ‘Anti-Trust issues’ and ‘Compliance’.

He has also supported Compliance (FCPA and UKBA perspective), Government Relations and Public Policy function in previous roles.
